Diabetes And Gout

Diabetes is strongly linked to gout. Not only gout but diabetes leads to complications linking it to various illnesses. Gout is linked to diabetes by the poor circulation of blood in the limbs. Due to poor blood circulation uric acid can accumulate in the joints. This increases the chances of coming down with gout.

Since poor circulation is one thing all diabetics have to face, this increases the chances of gout. Although diabetes has no cure, blood flow can be enhanced and there are some ways of doing this. Apply a warm, wet cloth to the place where there is little blood flow.

As a combined effect of heat and moisture blood vessels get dilated and there is an increase in blood flow. Of course regular exercise helps blood flow as well. Drinking more water has also proven to be effective in the treatment of gout. In addition to the above there are some natural remedies that can treat gout. Cayenne Tincture helps circulation, clears arteries and strengthens heart muscles.

Gingo Biloba is another herb that does wonders for the body in addition to treating gout symptoms. Garlic is another herb that cleanses blood, improves circulation and helps high blood pressure. Although gout may be a part of diabetes, you can lessen it’s impact on your life if you take the right steps
